Bean Within

Bean Within is a fast-paced 2D platform fighter where every bean has one attack... and that’s all they need. From aerial collisions to sheer bean body slams, physics is your greatest weapon. Slap, bump, bash, and fly your way to victory in a world that’s as chaotic as it is hilarious. Whether you're flinging yourself across the screen or surviving a gravity-defying bonus game, it's always a good time.

When selecting a character, drag the player icons to the desired character. You can toggle between Bot and Player by clicking on the icons.

As of right now, the game comes with:

• 18 complete playable characters (25 planned, with room for 2 secret fighters!)

• 17 unique stages, including the meme-packed Memeverse and hazard-based stages that challenge your bean reflexes.

• Arcade Mode: Go solo against a gauntlet of fighters with increasing intensity.

• Stadium Mode: Try your hand at skill-based bonus stages like:

  • Home-run Contest

  • Balance Challenge

  • (More coming soon!)

• 4-player local multiplayer for chaotic couch battles!

• Full original soundtrack with over 20+ songs, including genre mashups and theme remixes!

Here's what's planned:

• Over 60+ collectible kards — hand-drawn, lore-rich, and full of personality.

• Dungeon Crawler Mode — Randomly generated dungeon fights inspired by SSB Melee’s Adventure Mode, filled with enemies, power-ups, and secrets!

• Training Mode — Practice your bean physics and techniques.

• All-Star Mode — Battle every fighter in a massive endurance brawl.

• Bonus Stages — Wall Ball, Race to the End, Endurance... and possibly more!

• Sports Mode (maybe) — Sports-based party modes for multiplayer chaos!

• Lottery system — Unlock kards and items via random draws!

• Hidden characters — Shh… they’re a secret.

• Lots of secrets — because what’s a brawler without mystery?

This game is being built by me, high school student with a passion for creativity, animation, game design, and humor. Everything—characters, music, visuals, mechanics—is lovingly handcrafted to create a truly unique experience. It’s not polished AAA, but it's got soul, style, and way more bean physics than any game really should.

Bean Within is only going to get bigger. And weirder. And better.
